Your HP ProBook 450 G2 seems to be having an issue with the display, showing seizures occasionally after changing the thermal paste. It’s possible the new paste affected the circuitry or cooling system. You might want to check connections, ensure proper ventilation, and consider a professional diagnosis to confirm if there’s a hardware fault. Did you damage anything during the installation?

Place a pillow beneath the laptop's top and dial 911. Take this very seriously—we’ll need much more information to offer any real help. The display might flicker because of several problems. Initially, I’d check if your drivers are up to date. If that doesn’t fix it, I’d confirm whether you accidentally connected any ribbon cables incorrectly or damaged them, which could link the screen to the motherboard.

He mentioned ensuring the internal display cable wasn’t harmed during the opening process.
