Hey, do you need any advice on this strange problem?
Hi, I am having a weird problem. I can't watch my own videos on YouTube, but I CAN watch other people's videos. This only happens when I log in with my main account. If I use another account or completely sign out of it, everything works fine. I'm using Edge, but I installed Google Chrome just to test something new. The problem still happened even in the brand new browser. I have messaged YouTube on their support forums, but after reading all those replies and posts, I don't think I will get any help there either. Thanks.
Can family or friends see your YouTube videos? Do you know someone else who has a YouTube channel but keeps getting blocked or having trouble? It might be that YouTube thinks many people are watching your videos from different accounts (like yourself sharing the same ones) which counts as too many views. Or maybe other things look like they are trying to fake how many people see them. You will probably need to ask YouTube for help here. In the meantime, a little background info: you can't change the number of times your videos get watched just by refreshing the page or using other links with similar explanations.
Thanks for getting back to me! I use YouTube just to save clips for myself, but all my videos only get single digits in views. It doesn't mean I didn't start with padded views; also, I tried uploading from my phone using the YouTube app and it worked great. One other thing: when I go to edit a video, that little preview part works fine too. So this is really weird for me.
Ok so if you are having a problem like this here is what happened I got a message from YouTube saying that they are already checking with our partners why they can't watch their own videos and they will send your report to the team. Thanks for waiting in the meantime. So it looks good on them now.
