Hey, anyone looking for a game like Age of Empires II and Supreme Commander?
Hi, my two favorite PC games are Age of Empires II and Supreme Commander. I have spent hundreds of hours on both of them and really like these RTS style games. Can someone recommend some alternative PC games that feel similar to the ones above? I want to try something new for me, but it doesn't need to be a fresh release. Any suggestions would be great. I only play single-player mode, so multiplayer stuff doesn't count. Thanks!
Always the Command & Conquer family. Or Warcraft or Starcraft. Not quite as complex as AoE or Supreme Commander, but they're still fun games. Warhammer and 40k are more like war gaming RTS games. I even love playing Sins of a Solar Empire with its lots of expansions and mods that add cool things, sometimes turning them into something like Star Trek or Eve Online vibes. Stellaris is another one in the same boat, but I haven't tried it yet.
I'll go second on command & conquer series and my favorite RTS series which is Warhammer 40k dawn of war series dark crusade and soulstorm have many hours of single player campaign 7 different races each with its own storyline as you play through but all of them are great games DOW 2 and 3 not so much really but the first series is well worth it and old enough that you can get all of them in a pack on steam for $10 or less on sale quite often think the C&C collection is like $5 on origin or something cheap like that
