Hey there, I see you're setting up your first PC and running into some USB connection issues. You have six 120mm LL120 Corsair drives, a NZXT X73 Kraken AIO, and a Razer Lian Li 011 dynamics case. Your motherboard is the Rog Crosshair VIII Hero. The problem is that your USB setup uses a mix of headers—your drives have two USB 2.0 ports, the Kraken has one, and the case also has one, totaling four. That’s fewer than the usual four needed for six drives. You might be missing some USB 2.0 headers on the motherboard, or you could try using different ports if possible. An expansion card would be a good option if you need more space. Let me know if you want advice on the right ports or alternatives!

I haven't tried anything similar before, but I'm sure there are internal USB hubs available. Are these the connections you require? https://www.nzxt.com/products/internal-usb-hub

Connect via a USB hub for better port options.

The USB header connection requires just one header slot. You can detach the cable from the header and connect it directly to the USB header (without the plug). If you prefer, simply purchase a header splitter.

Thanks for the quick replies. The hub is already on order. Regarding the RADs, I’m trying to figure out the setup for my 6 Corsair LL120 units with two hubs. I need to know how the installation goes and how many fan headers are required. I’m having trouble finding the information on the Crosshair VIII hero manual, so maybe I should post this in a different thread?
