Here’s a brief overview of VRAM:
I own a Dell Vostro 14 3468 laptop with an Intel Core i7 7th generation processor. My specifications include a 2.70 GHz Intel Core i7 7500U CPU and a 64-bit operating system. The computer has 8 GB of RAM (7.80 GB usable). Following Windows installation, I observed approximately four thousand megabytes of graphics memory, with 128 MB dedicated and the remainder shared among system resources. I attempted to allocate an additional 1024 MB of dedicated video memory, but after restarting, the total available graphics memory increased to around eight thousand megabytes, consisting of 4096 MB dedicated and the remaining four thousand megabytes being shared. Considering this configuration, is there a risk of my laptop overheating when running graphically intensive games such as Just Cause 3 or 4?
