The B550 feels like it's already at its maximum speed. For a 5950X, I would rather jump straight to the X570 than risk going under that X570 and hitting the floor with the B550 instead of the X570. The B550 is fine for now, but please avoid the B450 since it's too slow by comparison.

The MSI B550 A PRO is a bit cooler for VRAM than typical cheap Gigabyte boards. These budget motherboards aren't usually that good at keeping things cool.

This motherboard is fine for CPUs that aren't too demanding, like those with six or more cores. But if you're running a very powerful CPU, I'd say go with the 5950X instead of this B550 A PRO because it has a better power delivery system (VRM).

I used my Pro4 with a 16-core processor without any trouble or high heat. It's okay not to care about the VRM temperatures because there are better options than this one if you want more advanced features.
