Hi, I just started learning about overclocking and I've been looking at all those guides. I have hit my top speed but now I'm trying to lower the CPU voltage so it runs as stable as possible. When I run some stress tests, HWinfo shows different voltages than what I set in my BIOS. Is this a normal thing or am I messing something up?

It's not about VID or vcore, it's about which one you actually need. You should stop trying to use only one piece of monitoring software.

VIG and vCORE are two separate things, so don't mix them up. Just focus on vCORE because that's what matters most. Don't use only one program to watch the system.

Any name for a thermometer that works: coretemp, realtemp, hwmonitor, or whatever else you choose.
