The power gap isn't huge enough to make a big deal. What matters more is what game you choose. Some games are really built for one card and not the other. For example, I play World of Warcraft, and it was made better with AMD cards back when there were some expansions out. Call of Duty usually likes those AMD chips these days too. But then there are games like Elden Ring or CS2 that love Nvidia instead.
