Here is a simple mail program for Windows 11:
Hello everyone, right now I use Gmail through my computer by going to gmail.com. But today I tried using the Windows Mail app, and it works okay for sending and getting emails. The problem happens sometimes: when I open an email there, the picture doesn't show up, so it says "Cannot be displayed." When I go back to the normal website on my laptop and login again, everything looks fine. I checked my settings menu, went through Manage Account, found Gmail Sync Settings, and turned off both of these options: "Always download full message" and "Internet Images." I closed the window and opened it again, but those options are still checked in there. I also checked under "Settings - Reading Pane": External Content Select An Account was set to Gmail with Apply for all accounts on, so external images and styles get downloaded automatically except for S/MIME mail. The other option, Automatically download external images and style formats for S/MIME mail, is also turned on. At this point I don't know what to do next?
It might be worth resetting your mail app if it hasn't been done yet. To do that, go to Apps & Features on Windows 10 settings, find Mail and Calendar, click Advanced Options, then hit the Reset button. This will delete all your accounts in the app, so you'll need to log back in after.
Maybe it is worth trying a full reset on your mail app if you haven't already. You can do this by opening Apps & Features in the Windows 10 settings, looking for Mail and Calendar, clicking Advanced Options, and then hitting the Reset button. This will delete all your accounts in the app so you'll need to log back in again.
