I just bought a new Dell Inspiron 24 All-In-One. It comes with Windows 11 Home built-in. I need to make a USB flash drive so I can reinstall the computer if needed. How big should that USB be? The current system is running on a 256GB SSD, and there is a larger 1TB hard drive holding all my files. How do I tell Windows to use the big hard drive for everything instead of the small one? I want to keep the fast SSD only for programs so they run quickly. Should I install those apps on the small drive or just leave it empty while putting everything else on the big one? Please help me with this!
You need to put apps on an SSD. You shouldn't keep them just for Windows. Where are all your files? Make a few extra folders on your hard drive. Run your apps and tell them where to save when you finish. The next time they try, they'll probably go there again. In the browser, pick a folder that will be used every time you want to save something.
