Here is a question about using the 10k power supply.
So I have a 5820k and used to run it overclocked at 4.2ghz on 1.205v. After some years, when my computer started acting weird with a Corsair AIO, I turned the overclock off. Now that I've replaced the AIO, I put the overclock back on at 4.2ghz. But it's making benchmarks worse than letting my ASUS motherboard handle boosting to 4.1ghz naturally. After resetting everything and trying to go over again, I can't even access the voltage anymore. I never touched any switches on my Asus X99A 3.1 motherboard. My Ripjaws V at 2133mhz with two 16GB sticks is also underperforming even though XMP is active. Could you give me some advice? I haven't overclocked in a long time, but when I did before, the guy who bought my AIO from a studio walked me through it and made sure everything was set right.
At 4.2 ghz, testing is hitting 82 degrees. I am still trying to fix my fan settings.
