Hi, I haven't edited videos since high school but I need to do this soon. My old Adobe Premiere Pro was CS3 back then. It's been years, but I think I know enough to get by. However, I see lots of totally free options popping up right now. The question is: should I switch to one of these newer free programs instead of my old version? Have they gotten better in quality recently? I don't mind learning a new tool if it's the better choice. If you recommend any specific ones for free software, please tell me! Thanks!

Sure. CS3 has been a long time old now. It used to be great when it came out fresh, but today there are better tools that offer more options. You can even free hitfilm express da vinci resolve for trying at zero cost.

Yeah, CS3 is pretty old now. It's a great program if you bought it brand new years ago, but today's better software has way more things to do. If you want to give the new programs a test drive, they cost nothing to start out.

Yeah, that was quick thanks for getting back to me. It sounded pretty good already, so the free stuff must have caught my eyes too long ago. I just forgot about it lately. Let's check out those two and say hi there!
