I actually have Kingdom Come Deliverance on my Steam wishlist and I really enjoy games set in the Middle Ages. I also own and like titles such as Medieval Dynasty, Mount and Blade, Warband, just a few examples.
I’ll definitely get Kingdom Come Deliverance. I must have missed it.
I haven’t played any Gears of War games yet, but I’ll look into them, thanks for the recommendations.

In Gears of War there are typically 5 to 6 units. I haven’t played them when they were released but found them later and conquered all of them. Regarding Kingdom Come, I’ll caution you not to get discouraged. This game doesn’t simplify things; at first it’s tough because your character is just a peasant, so you need to grasp the fundamentals of combat, etc. You’re not only learning mechanics but also developing abilities for your character. Even if you become proficient and restart, your character might lack the necessary skills to handle certain challenges. For instance, having a sword doesn’t mean you should immediately confront bandits expecting victory—you’ll probably die unless you improve. I’ve spent a lot of time watching YouTube tutorials, but the game itself is solid. Once you master it and build up your skills and equipment, things become much smoother. Also, take a look at Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord. It’s similar in concept to Warband but updated, focusing on building your own army while exploring.

I don't mind games that don't require guidance, though I do admit those kinds can sometimes annoy me. When that happens, I just shut it off and switch to something simpler and more straightforward.
I was curious about Bannerloard, but the reviews weren't very positive in my memory (I don't remember why). That's why I haven't chosen it yet. Perhaps I'll reconsider later.

Kingdom come was exactly what you were thinking for me at first. I believe I purchased it and didn’t revisit it until about two years later, after deciding to try it out. Once I started engaging with the story and grasped the basics, I managed to keep up with the content on YouTube and became hooked. I’m hoping they’ll release another one soon.

1 seems quite awkward and has issues, while 2 works better.

I believe "Kingdom Come: 2" could be released soon, perhaps this year. I'm excited about some of the upcoming titles in the next few years.
