How did this happen? I was using Google Chrome, mainly watching YouTube. What occurred? My computer began entering random keystrokes while connecting and disconnecting the keyboard unpredictably. Sometimes the Windows key stayed pressed, other times it would randomly type certain letters or hold the shift key. Additionally, when I opened the Explorer window to pick a file, it would list multiple files in sequence. I've tried everything possible—reinstalling drivers, updating them, restarting Windows, factory resetting, and even scanning for hardware changes via Command Prompt. I also tested on different ports, but the issue continued. The keyboard functions correctly for short periods after rebooting, yet it returns to the same problem.

Can you run the test on a Linux Live USB to see if the issue comes from software or hardware?
Many Linux systems allow you to start from a USB drive or CD, enabling you to try configurations before installing. Simply obtain an Ubuntu or similar release, save the files onto a USB using software such as Rufus, and then begin booting from that device.
I haven't attempted that before. I'll try it. Currently, I'm making a bootable Windows USB and attempting a reinstall because the reset didn't fix anything. I believe the issue is with Windows itself and happens unpredictably.
