My iron smelter won't just stop at automation! I'm definitely going to support Factorio – it's probably my top choice so far. Two simple games that fit the bill are Islanders and Superflight, both from the same developer and priced around a few dollars each. Thanks to procedural generation, Superflight offers a calming wingsuiting experience. Islanders is a settlement-building game set on procedurally generated islands, where you aim to accumulate points to unlock new ones at random. It's easy to start and stop whenever you want to play something quick.
I suggest Mindustry – simpler than Factorio and includes tower defence aspects.
You can try it mostly for free. Or, if you wish, back the developers by purchasing it through their site or Steam.

Everspace works well. It's a fast-paced space battle game. I spent 20 hours trying to get it right.
Portal 1 & 2, Subnautica, Journey (PC version recently stopped), Abzu, FTL, SUPERHOT, 911 Operator, Papers, Please, Empires of the undergrowth, Kingdom Rush (free browser version available), The Long Dark (not played yet, might be frustrating but offers replay value), DOOM 2016, and a Bioshock triple pack I recently purchased.
CSS or CSGO surfing maps or servers. Casual Rainbow Six. Elite dangerous. Could tackle a Warframe mission from time to time.
My summer car
It’s a special experience even though its visuals feel like they’re from ten years past. It’s a survival/Car/life/simulator game. Definitely worth trying, and I really enjoy it.
Skyrim
It’s also an engaging title rooted in history, offering a battle setting and an impressive narrative.
Assassins Creed Origins
This title provides an immersive look into ancient Egypt, letting you interact with famous personalities and events from that era (like Cleopatra and Julius Caesar).
Cooking simulator
That name perfectly captures the essence.
Lego worlds
It’s an open-world sandbox game built around Lego pieces.
Any entry in the
Resident Evil series if you’re into horror.
Stardew Valley
Watch Dogs 2
If you’re interested in exploring the world of hacking.
Roblox
If you’re feeling bored and want to explore various multiplayer options on Roblox.
Some popular choices include
Minecraft, Pubg, Fortnite, FIFA, GTA5
These games can definitely relax you if you’re playing them for the first time.
I purchased Factorio and enjoy it, but your base has been repeatedly damaged by annoying bugs. Can you disable them or find a solution?
