Here are some fresh game suggestions for you.
Here are some fresh game suggestions for you.
I'm getting ready to set up my first gaming PC ;-) Any suggestions for games you think are great?
I suggest games from earlier eras. Half-Life 1&2, Bioshock, Deus Ex, Dishonored, Dragon Age: Origins, Mass Effect, Jade Empire, Star Wars; Knights of the Old Republic (classic Bioware titles). TES series FTL: Faster than Light, Tomb Raider; Mirror's Edge, XCOM plus DLC. Beyond Good & Evil – new releases are usually just poor quality, though that’s my opinion.
Hide and seek with your buddies outside the house! 🎮 ... Project CARS
What kinds of games appeal to you? I really enjoy The Witcher Series. You can experience Witcher 2, which offers solid visuals without requiring a top-tier gaming PC. The upcoming Witcher 3 is set for release next year, and it looks like even a 780Ti struggles to maintain 60fps at full settings in 1080p. Currently, many titles are pushing the limits of modern GPUs. Shadow of Mordor is a newly released popular title; though it demands 6GB of video memory for ultra-texture use, that’s unrealistic—previously, 2GB was considered standard for high-end cards, with only Titan models reaching 6GB.
If you enjoy strategy games like XCOM Enemy Unknown, I found everything after Age of Empires 2 to be disappointing. But this month I started playing and it’s really great. For first-person shooters, consider Battlefield 3, COD MW & MW2, and FarCry 3. If you’re into action, Mirror's Edge stands out—it’s one of the most original and entertaining titles. Horror fans, Outlast has left a strong impression on me. Regarding RPGs, World of Warcraft is massive, though many features are already covered. It’s the biggest game available, but I don’t play it often anymore; I mostly watch it on Twitch. It’s worth checking out. Racing games aren’t my forte since Most Wanted isn’t engaging. Story elements in titles like The Vanishing of Ethan Carter and The Stanley Parable are interesting, but the storylines can be repetitive. What hardware are you using? There are countless configurations for building a gaming PC.
There are superior shooters compared to those who act like that.
I’d avoid sticking only to fresh titles: Batman Arkham, Bastion Bioshock, Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, Dishonored, Far Cry 3, Just Cause 2, Mirror’s Edge, Portal 1 & 2, Rayman Legends, Sleeping Dogs, Sonic Generations, The Walking Dead, and The Wolf Among Us.
It seems you're expressing frustration about the difficulty of playing these games. You've mentioned several popular titles and shared your experience with High Fidelity 2, indicating you've tried them but faced challenges. Your view is that many of these games feel outdated and disappointing.
