The visuals seem off after the latest update, which is why I haven’t played Star Trek Online much lately. I’ve canceled my subscription too. The Skyrim has been acting up lately—characters stuck in place for ages. I think a break from RPGs would help. Since I can keep my system running, I’m open to trying something new now.

I’ve been stuck on the console until March, so finding PC games is still a bit of a challenge. Online searches are tough because new titles aren’t cheap and I can’t trade or return them if they don’t suit me. I’ll try to share what I enjoy and any recommendations would be really helpful.

Games I liked: Physics-heavy physics in Forza games impressed me—not too rigid, not too casual. Customization was a big plus. Open worlds in Midnight Club games appealed to me, though driving physics didn’t. Combining Forza with Midnight Club sounds perfect.

I enjoyed Split Second for its style at the time. First-person shooters: I loved Halo, Halo 3, Reach, and Halo 4. Disliked Halo 2 and ODST. Favorites include Call of Duty: World at War and Modern Warfare 2. Haven’t played Battlefield since Battlefield 2.

Action games: Kingdom of Amulur stood out to me. I thought it was more action than RPG, but I appreciated the gameplay. Batman Arkham Asylum is a solid pick.

Assassin’s Creed and Shadow of Mordor are similar, but I’d prefer something less fantasy. Anyone has tried Mystic Heroes on the GameCube? It was interesting. I’m open to a good beat ‘em up if it fits.

Flight games: Ace Combat series has been my go-to since PlayStation 1. I’d be interested in something similar now. The last one is four years old, but there are newer options.

Strategy games: StarCraft was a huge hit for me. I’d dive into StarCraft II if it weren’t for that frustrating DPI issue. Dawn of War and its expansions were also favorites.

Have you tried GTA V for PC? I heard it's an amazing port I know you're frustrated with RPGs at the moment. But, really, every gamer on this planet needs to play the Witcher 3.

My RPG annoyances grow when I receive a complimentary copy of Witcher 3 along with my graphics card. But I misplaced my GoG login details, and the reset page isn’t working properly, making it impossible to regain access.

Hey, the instructions are just for GOG? You know you can use Steam instead? Fingers crossed we fix this!

I checked Steam last night and wondered if there are truly outstanding racing titles for PC these days. Games like Forza and Gran Turismo still stand out, though player feedback isn’t always positive. Project Cars seems interesting, but the customization options feel limited.
