I've been considering this for a while now and I'm looking for guidance on selecting games for my PC. Since I'm just starting out in this community, I don't want to waste time trying games that don't suit my preferences or that I can't play due to hardware limitations.

Dead Space 1 CSGO offers a lively experience at an affordable cost. Fallout 3 or NV work well if you have Windows, otherwise NV is the best choice. Fear 2: Dark Souls is another engaging title.

Rocket Leauge is something I’d avoid unless it’s Portal 2. Generally, they’re super hyped in my opinion. Also: Battlefield 4, Mark of the Ninja (you’ll need a controller), Tera’s a free MMO, Euro Truck Simulator 2 and Starbound.

Newer and older titles are both welcome. The genres you enjoy vary, but favorites include Gothic 2, Duke 3D, Age of Empires 2, Far Cry 1. For newer releases, consider Left 4 Dead 2, Battlefield 4, Pillars of Eternity, and Max Payne 3.
