Your current 100 Mbps plan remains valid even after upgrading to a 10 Gbps router. Internet speed is determined by the service you have from your provider.

It won't boost your internet speed beyond what your current plan offers, but swapping out the router can provide better Wi-Fi performance compared to the one your ISP supplies.
