Earlier there was a major problem with my computer. I shared it some time ago but nobody replied. I’m trying to post again now. About six months ago my PC started acting up. Obviously, there was a power problem and it wouldn’t start properly. I thought the motherboard was damaged, so I upgraded to a cheaper build. Six months later I decided to test it out again. It works fine—no boot issues like before. However, now it sometimes crashes during certain games (not every game). The computer shuts down and restarts without any blue screen or crash logs. I’m really stuck and need someone with expertise like Linus to fix this because my landlord won’t help me get replacement parts. Please share the specs: ROG Rampage IV, Extreme I7-3820, 16GB DDR3, 1TB SSD/HDD, MSI RTX 2060 Gaming, MSI Optix G32.

It suggests the power supply unit is likely malfunctioning.

I believe it might be the motherboard rather than the power supply unit.

My previous unit was a Corsair 750 watt, while the current one is 600 watts. It's odd since I changed the PSU in my older setup, and the 750 didn't fail. I'm starting to think about upgrading the motherboard instead.

Which power supply unit are you employing? It might be overheating. Does the PSU's fan rotate and become warm during system shutdown?
