my pc finally worked when i left it running for a few days. i think it might be the cpu or the motherboard, and i'm prepared to buy a replacement. i’m hoping someone with more experience, smarts, and good looks can help me decide before i buy both. the system uses an i5 11400f with multiple reseats and bent pins z590 d. ram is a mix of different sticks, but i’ve tested some from other computers and they all function. the gpu is an rx6600 which also works in other setups, and the psu seems fine after trying different power supplies. i have a case but didn’t use it properly—without grounding and connecting directly to the motherboard, i saw a cpu light but no beeps came out. i’m open to suggestions if anyone has a similar rig and wants to test both parts. thank you for any advice!

Was das Zurücksetzen der CMOS und der Versuch, mit nur einem RAM-Stick zu starten, bereits versucht wurde?

If the CMOS reset fails, you can upgrade your BIOS using Q-Flash Plus, compatible with your board. The latest BIOS is available for download here: https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/Z59...rt-dl-bios

Hey everyone, I've tested both a CMOS reset and just one RAM stick. The BIOS update seems to be working well, I'll try it again next time. Cheers!
