Using the X.M.P profiles you referenced, did you attempt to manually set the voltage between 1.4 and 1.45v in BIOS? Are you capable of handling DDR4-3200MHz/DDR4-3200MT/s? If so, it might be that your integrated memory controller or the motherboard's BIOS isn't supporting that configuration.

This is the only Asus z590 ATX board that hasn't received a BIOS update in over two and a half years. I reached out to Asus, but the response was slow. I wasn’t sure if it was safe to increase the voltage beyond 1.35v.
Edit:
I recently attempted to raise the voltage step by step up to 1.38v for XMP1 3600. Each time, after about 20 seconds of memtest, the system would freeze.
I configured the BIOS to "Manual" mode at 3200 with a voltage of 1.375v, and it has held up so far—no crashes or freezes detected. It seems this setting might be the optimal configuration for this board, as it doesn’t require the four cycles of updates other Z590 models do:

This is the only Asus z590 ATX board that hasn't received a BIOS update in over two and a half years. I reached out to Asus, but the response was slow. I wasn’t sure if it was safe to increase the voltage beyond 1.35v.

It seems you're adjusting RAM timings rather than reducing them. If CL=19 works but CL=18, 17 or 16 cause issues, then tighter settings generally mean fewer cycles per operation. Irrespective of the explanation, the i7-11700K supports up to DDR4-3200. Exceeding that speed depends on the specific RAM model, module compatibility, and your ability to fine-tune parameters.

Getting an older AMD 2600X to run at 3000MT/s failed because its maximum supported speed was DDR4-2933. Reducing timings from CL=16 to CL=18 made it stable during testing.

For aiming for 3600MT/s, consider raising the CL value by one or two cycles, giving memory more time to stabilize. Try tCL=20 at a higher clock rate of 1800MHz with DDR4-3600.

Usually it's better to stay below 1.35V for DDR4.

I apologize for my lack of understanding. I've read about adjusting memory timings but this is my very first attempt! It's a bit confusing, but I'm just trying to learn.
I was attempting DDR4-3600 at the manufacturer or motherboard timings, only as a starting point. When those didn't work, I came here seeking advice on adjusting them. I never tried CL17 or CL16 at that speed. After
