Let me start off by saying I understand its not good to mix and match memory but the circumstance here is different. I've had this 1x8gb stick of V-color skywalker prism 3200mhz DDR4 in my system for a while and I figured its time for an upgrade. The problem is I can't find any reliable place where they still sell the exact single stick. I did find one that is almost exactly the same on Amazon. Same brand, voltage, speed and type but its a different color and has a different tag id. one being TL48G32S8 S RGB16 while the other being TL48G32S8 R RGB16 There is a one letter difference. I'm hoping the only real difference is the color and that they would work in dual channel but I just want to make sure. Thank you in advance. (white one is the one I already own and the Red is the one on Amazon.) The performance depends on identical frequency, timing, voltage levels, and components. Using the same brand also helps. In my experience, an older setup with a 8GB Corsair and a 8GB GSKILL worked fine.
