Hi all. I own an RX 480 Sapphire Nitro+ with 8GB RAM and want to push it beyond its standard GPU Clock of 1342 MHz and Memory Clock of 2000 MHz. I'm considering using Sapphire TriXX, but I'm unsure about some settings in that software. If I were to increase the GPU Clock to 1450 MHz and Memory Clock to 2200 MHz, should I adjust the VDDC Offset (currently at 0 mV) or raise the Board Power Limit from 0%? Also, with a 500W Seasonic PSU and an Intel Core i7-4790K, would this configuration be capable of supporting the overclocked GPU?

I recommend using AMD's own WattMan for overclocking since it comes with your drivers and usually performs very well.
For the overclock process, I suggest reviewing some guides on GPU overclocking until you grasp the concepts—avoid those that give step-by-step instructions—so you can develop a clear understanding of what to do and how.

Manual voltages are required to observe the exact voltage applied at each frequency.
You'll need to maintain low voltages to avoid reaching thermal limits.
My undervolted RX480 operates at 1305MHz core @ 1020mV and 2000MHz VRAM @ 920mV. This is typical for most 14nm Polaris cards I've adjusted.
I've prepared a manual guide for you.

Wattman is the right tool here. Yes, you should definitely increase the power limit and voltage. The voltage helps maintain a stable overclock. Perform a GPU benchmark and wait roughly 15 minutes to ensure stability—if your system crashes, it’s likely due to excessive clock speed or insufficient voltage. At 1450 and 2200 MHz, the voltage is what matters most; adding more will generate more heat, so you may need to adjust the fan curve. Overdoing the power limit won’t help; it just lets the GPU draw more power without any safeguards. As the name suggests, this setting controls the power limit for your GPU.
