Yes, you can easily switch between the two sets of settings. OBS allows you to manage different configurations without needing to reconfigure everything each time.

He aims to transition smoothly between his live streaming and gameplay recording settings. It’s unclear if this is feasible. I’ve only tried OBS briefly for recording my Dark Souls videos.

The visuals apply to situations excluding facecam use; I believe the settings interface doesn't cover facecam scenarios.

I really thought it might be super frustrating having to re-enter all those settings, especially with plugins that could handle it.

It's not like this; I've attempted it myself but couldn't manage. I spent a lot of time searching for tools that let me control recording and streaming options. Adjusting bitrate, frame rate, or resolution became too bothersome.

He seemed to intend for a change in appearance, but didn't clarify his exact preference. A script could help swap different configurations into AppData\Roaming\OBS\profiles\Untitled.ini for quick switching between options.
