This setup delivers a remarkable 1440p gaming experience and offers great value. I'll attach the complete list here for your convenience.

The AMD Ryzen 7600 is a strong option for gaming. It doesn’t reach the premium tier, but it performs well without breaking the bank, and comes with a built-in heatsink. You can replace the motherboard if you need additional features, though for around 150 pounds the MSI B650 Plus WiFi provides 2.5G Ethernet, ample space for external devices, and extra PCIe ports for future upgrades.

There aren’t many alternatives that match this balance of performance and cost. This Corsair Vengeance package gives you 32 gigabytes to handle other tasks while gaming, it's...

The AMD Ryzen 7600 stands out as a reliable option for gaming. It’s not the premium model, but it performs adequately, stays affordable, and comes with a built-in heatsink. If you’re open to changing the motherboard, there are other features available, though at around $150 the MSI B650 Plus WiFi remains a strong pick. It supports 2.5G Ethernet, offers ample I/O for peripherals, and includes extra PCIe slots for future upgrades.

When it comes to memory, there aren’t many better choices in terms of value. The Corsair Vengeance kit provides 32GB for running applications during gaming, with tight timings and low latency to enhance Ryzen performance. You can tailor your storage needs—choosing a 1TB SSD for the operating system and programs, paired with a 2TB hard drive for games. If you don’t need much space, you can skip the hard drive and use just the SSD and a single 2TB drive. For a total of 3TB, this combination works well.

If you’re on a tighter budget and seeking top rasterized gaming performance, Nvidia isn’t the most attractive option unless you specifically need their exclusive software or Ray Tracing features. The AMD Radeon 7800XT is the clear winner at this price range. For those willing to invest slightly more, the 7900 GRE offers even better performance.

Many modern cases aimed at gamers feature RGB lighting or tempered glass panels—this is purely personal preference. The Sharkoon M25-V is a solid choice for its price, with two fans and two USB 3.0 ports for added I/O.

The Radeon 7800XT suggests a 700-watt power supply, but the Corsair RM650 is an outstanding build quality unit, especially considering your CPU’s low power draw. It will work perfectly without any problems. If you plan to expand storage, add more RAM, or include additional cards, Corsair also offers a 750-watt model for extra capacity.

Since you didn’t specify a budget for your monitor, I’ve included a solid value option. The AOC Q27G3XMN features an 180Hz refresh rate, low response time, Mini LED backlight, and 1440p resolution. It handles motion smoothly, though it may struggle with fast-moving visuals. This model is well-suited for a budget of around $250.

Thanks for your time to reply to my post!!
Great selections and I really appreciate the setup! A few things come to mind: could we suggest a "curve" monitor? And what are your thoughts on ultra wilde? TIA

You have the option of a curved monitor, but at that scale it probably won’t significantly improve usability or interaction. I’ve used ultra wide monitors before, yet I favor smaller individual displays over one massive screen. The ability to arrange different program windows on separate physical screens feels more convenient than spreading them across a single large panel. Still, if that suits you or you enjoy the broader field of view in certain games, ultra wide monitors are worth considering. Just remember you’ll either pay more for the wider display or sacrifice some features or performance.

Black Friday is here, and I'm planning to use a 7900 XT graphics card. Should I upgrade my power supply? If needed, I have a Cooler Master MWE 760 Gold listing around £70.
