Help with my motherboard x690 aoros master

Hi everyone, I recently purchased an x690 AORUS Master and keep encountering the post code AD on my motherboard. This indicates the system is ready to boot for OS Boot. The codes mean different things, but I’m confused about what they signify. I’ve connected two NVMe drives and tried everything else—plugging them in, using just the GPU and RAM, even with a bootable drive—but nothing works. I also see error A0: IDE initialization started occasionally, along with A2 Detect and installation of all connected IDE devices. Is there a faulty motherboard? Anyone have suggestions? This is my first PC build, and so far it’s been really frustrating. Online troubleshooting hasn’t helped much.

The CPU is a fresh i9-12900kf and the Corsair Vengeance RAM 4800 is also brand new.

Which GPU are you running? It looks like the RAM slots might be misaligned—this is likely a test setup or you meant to start with those specific slots.

It was just a trial setup. My computer would sometimes start and then shut down or display BSOD. I thought I had cleared the AD, A0, and A2 entries and managed to get past them, but it’s now failing to boot.
