I’m linked to many services like YouTube, Facebook, Google, and can handle 1080p videos smoothly. However, I struggle to open apps such as League of Legends or Steam. Sometimes I get login issues or no response from waiting rooms, but I can still share this information here.

There might be several possible causes. It could involve a virus or malware disrupting specific outbound connections or restricting your computer's internet access. Your firewall or antivirus settings might be blocking certain applications from making outbound or incoming traffic, or preventing them from connecting to the internet. Port forwarding problems on your device or router could also be at play, as could restrictions on ports used by games but not other programs.

The issue was resolved by my ISP, but I appreciate the guidance—it will consider this next time something like this occurs.
