I have about a 900$ budget for the PC itself. My main goal in building it is to create music and enjoy video games—just not big AAA titles or ultra-high resolution games. I play games like Valorant, CS:GO, and League of Legends with friends. From what I know, the CPU handles most of the work when it comes to music production, so I thought focusing on that part would be best. I think I’ll need at least eight cores. I’m a bit confused about the differences between AMD and Intel—some say AMD needs faster RAM and gets hotter. I’m not sure if this gives me enough guidance, but thanks for any help. Teo

Budget slightly high, but fits music production requirements. Includes 32 GB RAM, AMD Ryzen 7 5700X processor, thermal cooler, MSI motherboard, OLOy memory, 1 TB NVMe SSD, ASRock graphics card, and a suitable case. Total comes to around $934 when all costs are accounted for. Prices reflect shipping and applicable taxes. List generated by PCPartPicker on December 13, 2022.

It turns out in my country a $900 build feels quite costly compared to my budget. My budget in USD is roughly $750. I managed to put together a solid setup with the help of friends. The main thing I’m unsure about is the motherboard. Any suggestions? I don’t need Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, just a decent audio card.
