This build suggestion came from another forum thread last year. I’m seeking a suitable video card to upgrade my current setup, as my existing system struggles with AAA titles like Spider-Man 2. I’m aiming for a budget of £500 to £800 and don’t want to purchase second-hand items. Could you recommend a card that fits this configuration and supports modern games?

Hey there,
Your initial options look solid.
It seems like a decent gaming setup would work well. You might enjoy using 1440p and 4k, though you could adjust the settings a bit lower for 4k.
You might also consider the Radeon 9070XT, AMD's latest GPU, which is a strong all-rounder. The 4070ti Super is still a capable choice for 1440p/4k.

My current configuration uses a Corsair RM850. What is the age of your PSU? I’m trying to play games like Spider-Man 2, but my system won’t support them. I’m aiming for a card budget between £500 and £800. Can you help me consider the RX 9070XT? You can check it here: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/products/vid...ice&page=1.
If you browse that list, you’ll notice an RTX 4070Ti Super priced around £620. I’d prefer something with better performance, as my parts list was suggested almost a year ago.
Also, the thread I posted has been moved from the Components section to the Systems section instead of the Graphics Cards section.

Could there be anything further your build could enhance?

These recent AMD and Nvidia graphics cards are compatible with PCIe 5.0, and the board supports it as well.
