Hi, I assembled a custom PC using the biostar B85MG and the Intel g3258. I understand I need to lower the BIOS settings for overclocking but am unsure how to adjust the voltage. My current BIOS configuration includes:

Fivr OVP/OCP Enabled
Firv Efficiency Enabled
CPU VOLTAGE MODE OVERRIDE
CPU OVERRIDE VOLTAGE TARGET MV AUTO
RING VOLTAGE MODE
RING OVERRIDE VOLTAGE TARGET MV AUTO
SA VOLTAGE OFFSET MV 0
IOA VOLTAGE OFFSET MV 0
IOD VOLTAGE OFFSET MV 0
DRAM VOLTAGE AUTO
CPU Vcc AUTO

I’m struggling to locate the correct settings for overclocking, except for the MHz I changed in CPU RATIO. Anyone have any advice? It seems like no one has this board before, and I can’t find anything other than using the oldest firmware. Thanks!

The B85 chipset only permits OC through BLCK, which isn't particularly useful.

The B85 chipset doesn't support OC without using the BLCK, which isn't really beneficial. Still, you're able to do it and the overclock is functioning well.

This forum has the most useless members. I was just someone looking for a straightforward solution. No forum seems to have any help for this rarely used motherboard. Yet I managed to overclock it myself by dismantling a motherboard and finally getting the overclock to function properly. I’m closing my account and hope the next person finds a site that will be helpful.
Thanks for not replying, and to the one who thanked me sincerely from the bottom of my heart—even though your answer was incorrect, you at least tried. Thank you.

Could you tell us your process for creating it? Since the method can't be duplicated, did you resort to modifying the BIOS?
