HELP!! When I type either the correct BitLocker PIN or Windows PIN, it displays it as incorrect.
Yesterday I conducted an experiment to test what occurs when entering the incorrect BitLocker PIN repeatedly. Now I understand the outcome! It seems that today my PINs—both the BitLocker and Windows login PINs, as well as the fingerprint—are no longer being recognized. The only functioning method remains the BitLocker recovery key. Currently, I am unable to use the Windows login PIN. I own a T480 Thinkpad.
Basic security measures in place. Excessive wrong entries result in being blocked, regardless of whether you eventually input the correct codes.
