Is there a way to skip the login screen on Windows 8 at the gateway using one computer? I purchased it from Goodwill and it’s fully locked—BIOS also asks for a password. I sent the login names via email but didn’t get a response.

There seems to be no way around the log screen in Windows 8 on gateway when using a single computer. The device was purchased from Goodwill and requires a password for BIOS access. I sent the associated names with the username for login, but there was no response. Check the provided link for more details.
