Hello, I’ve recently acquired a desktop computer specifically for gaming. It currently includes an Intel Core i5-8400 processor (with a base clock speed of 2.8 GHz and an overclock up to 4 GHz), an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 graphics card (featuring 2 GB of VRAM, though in-game it only recognizes 1.9 GB), 8 GB of DDR4 RAM, and a 1 TB hard drive. To improve its performance for my gaming goals, I plan to upgrade it with a 500 GB SSD, an additional 4 GB of DDR4 RAM, and a processor with at least 4 cores and a clock speed of 3.5 GHz or higher, along with a graphics card boasting at least 4 GB of VRAM. These upgrades aren’t strictly necessary, but I would like advice on what to prioritize. My target games include titles such as Titanfall 2, Rainbow Six Siege, Apex Legends, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

I'm considering an Intel Core i3-9100F processor (with 4 cores, 4 threads, and a base clock speed of 3.6 GHz). Could you please advise whether this processor would be suitable?

Furthermore, I am aiming for consistent 1080p gameplay with mid to high graphics settings and a frame rate of 60-90 FPS, keeping in mind that I'm operating on a limited budget and am seeking the most affordable options that meet these specifications. Any assistance would be greatly valued.

Thank you for your support.

Certainly not.

Regarding Intel, a minimum of an i7-9700 is advised.
Concerning AMD, a Ryzen 1600 AF or 2600 is suggested.
1) 1660 Super
2) 1650 Super
3) Used RX 580
