I purchased a Samsung 980 Pro NVMe SSD in March 2023. In October 2023, my laptop froze and the NVMe SSD turned into unallocated space after a forced shutdown. After restarting, it regained its allocation. This month it froze again, losing allocation too. I suspect either the SSD is faulty or my motherboard is affecting it. I’m seeking advice from someone experienced in diagnosing motherboard issues—ideally a technician. Could you help me understand what might be going on?

Monitor temperature of the drive, reinsert it if needed, run a health check tool, and scan for malware. If problems persist, consider returning for repair.
