Hi, I understand the issue you're facing. Your PC runs CS:GO at maximum settings but experiences a significant FPS drop when switching maps. The problem seems to occur between matches. You have a Ryzen 7 3800X with an RX 5600XT, 16GB RAM at 3200MHz. Let me know if you need further assistance.

Maximum gpu usage shouldn't lead to sudden fps drops like that, it would be the cpu's fault, wouldn't it? The cpu sends frames to the gpu, so if the cpu isn't at its peak or isn't working properly in that case, the issue wouldn't be gpu-related.

If the cpu seems to be lagging during sessions, consider checking your power plans on Windows to prevent it from sleeping. Try a high-performance plan but set the minimum processor state to 10%. Start with the latter and see what happens.

The performance improved during the first match but then dropped significantly in the second one. I’m unsure what to do. I have Windows installed on both the SSD and HDD, and I tried installing it on the HDD without success. The SSD has 137GB free space while the HDD has 861GB. Initially, everything ran smoothly, but after some changes, my FPS became unstable. It only drops in the second match, though the first one was fluctuating but stable. I noticed that when the second match starts, the GPU usage reaches maximum while the CPU stays low. Could this be the issue? It seems like a strange bug, unrelated to hardware since other demanding games run well. I’ve adjusted power plans before without success (maintaining at least 99% CPU usage). I tried reinstalling Windows and changing settings, but nothing changed. The problem persists, and I’m not sure if there’s anything wrong with my console. At the time of purchase, I could play the game without issues, but after a month I began to notice problems. I reinstalled Windows again and still had no improvement.

I don't have a specific system drive configuration, but I can provide general guidance on Windows and game storage setups. Let me know if you'd like tips on optimizing your drive usage!

System drives seem fine and there's enough space.
See what happens if you alt tab out of game then back in before second match begins.
While alt tabbed, check also csgo in task manager and try set priority to a different level.
Try also set csgo in Adrenaline (if possible, im not familiar with Adrenaline) to use maximum performance always from the graphics card that it doesn't somehow change power states after a match and doesn't get off of that state continuing into the second match.

I don't share this view, but instead focus on how software engages with your environment, particularly Ryzen. These recommendations aim to refine approaches that could enhance your overall interaction. I hope they help.

Bios updates generally address hardware problems rather than software issues. I would avoid that unless it's essential.
I might install a fresh latest Win10 version on a spare hard drive just to eliminate any MS update complications.
It could also be worth creating a new user account to minimize background application interference.

Was die Situation immer so gewesen oder hat CS:GO früher noch gut funktioniert, als es die 2. Karte gab? Gibt es aktuelle Anpassungen?
