I received a fresh computer setup and everything was assembled, but it won’t start. I suspect the issue lies with the MOBO. I used my CPU on a friend’s machine without problems, so I updated the BIOS using an old CPU to open the PC. Since the system wasn’t Ryzen 3 compatible, it worked fine then. Now it won’t boot or launch with my MOBO and the same CPU, even though I have the latest BIOS (version 5406) and all drivers updated. My setup includes: MOBO → Asus Rog Strix X470-F Gaming CPU → AMD Ryzen 5 3600 Box GPU → Asus GeForce RTX 2060 Super 8GB Rog Strix Gaming RAM → G.Skill RipjawsV 16GB DDR4-3200MHz SSD → Samsung 860 Evo 500GB M2 → Corsair Force MP510 480GB POWER → Corsair TX-M Series TX650M. I’m certain the MOBO requires a newer BIOS for Ryzen 3 support, so I updated it but still can’t get it to work. I’ve tried booting with just one RAM module and even experimented with other BIOS versions like 4804 or 5205 before settling on the latest, but nothing changed. I’m really frustrated and don’t know what to do next.
The issue arises when I run a friend's old Ryzen 2 generation on my machine, but with my own Ryzen 5 3600 (3rd gen) or any Ryzen 3 generation, it fails to boot. I think the problem is that my system doesn't work properly with my MOBO and CPU combination.
If the board functions with a different CPU, it might indicate a faulty processor. It's rare to encounter a completely dead CPU, but testing another Ryzen 5 3600 could reveal any impact. You could attempt to replace the CPU and observe the results, or retrieve a new one for comparison.

i know thats what i think most likely too. thats why i did the update 4 times... and still nothing . is there a spesific version i must have ? shouldnt the latest version be good ? also is there a spesific way to update the ? i tryed via internet the first time... then via USB but nothing a friend of mine said maybe the MOBO is rly old(was in stock) so the chipsets on are too old and small for the bios...dont even know if that is a thing. im not a specalist.
