Hi,
My PC problem began about a year ago: after turning off or sleeping, the fans and lights stayed on, meaning it wouldn’t shut down properly. Windows 11 would freeze and the monitor would go blank as well. To fix this, I had to turn off the power supply button on the back or press the front power button briefly until everything stopped. After that, I had to restart the PC manually, i.e., start it up again.

In recent months, the issue has worsened: the PC no longer starts after pressing the power button. Sometimes it works for a day or two, other times it fails completely within 4-5 days. I’ve tried disconnecting it from power for hours with the power button either on or off, but that didn’t help. Occasionally, it starts and runs normally until Sleep or Shutdown, after which it stops again.

I’m not sure if the power supply unit or the motherboard is the cause because even when the PC isn’t starting at all, the motherboard’s light diode stays lit. I’ve looked up possible solutions everywhere but still don’t know what to do. The power settings, drivers, and other configurations are fine—I haven’t touched them recently. It seems like a hardware problem might be involved. A friend suggested disabling the internal graphics card in the BIOS, but it didn’t work. I’m really stuck and need your assistance!

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.
