I updated my old setup with a new CPU, motherboard, RAM, and SSD. Everything was assembled correctly, but now it doesn’t boot at all—even with the BIOS. It works with just one stick of RAM, but two cause a red LED to light up labeled CPU. I checked by swapping the sticks and booting separately, confirming they’re not the actual RAM. If anyone has advice, it would be really helpful.

Did they come packaged together as one set or were they bought individually?

When you exchange the sticks, do you insert them into their designated motherboard ports? For instance, placing stick 1 in port 1 and stick 2 in port 2, or swapping stick 1 into slot 1 with stick 2 into slot 1?

I exchanged the sticks in both positions. Stick 1 is now in slot 1 and slot 2, and vice versa.

Yes, according to the manual, you should be utilizing slots A2 and B2. Are you confirming that?

Yes. I placed them in another configuration too, but it didn't work either.

Are you referring to that motherboard model where there is just one clamp on the right side of the stick? From my own misguided attempt, you should ensure the left side of the stick is fully seated in the slot before closing the right clamp. It’s quite similar to needing a magnifying glass to check how the stick fits, at least I found that out.
