Generally, if an 8-pin CPU power connector is available, it needs an 8-pin cable rather than a 4-pin one. Although there are times when it might be an alternative. I think I should connect the 8 pins. I'm checking the manual now for the motherboard and haven't seen any improvements yet.

The instructions recommend linking both an 8-pin and a 4-pin connection. Certain models work with just the 8-pin, while others need both types.

It isn't the best solution, but here is a molex to ATX P4 adapter. The alternative is a higher wattage power supply.

Watched a video mentioning that 4 pin isn't necessary (good luck), but I'm still unsure why I'm not getting a signal. Could the screws I'm using be affecting it?

As long as the 8-pin CPU power connector is active, it should function properly for regular use. What I've learned is that the extra 4-pin connection is mainly for overclocking, which isn't relevant here. If the system starts with just an 8-pin cable, that seems to be the strongest confirmation. However, I think a more powerful power supply would be better.

As long as the 8-pin CPU power connector is active it should work fine for regular use. From what I understand, the extra 4-pin is meant for overclocking, which isn't relevant here. If it starts with just an 8-pin connection, that seems to be the strongest proof. However, I think a more powerful power supply would be better. Nvidia suggested a 600-watt unit, which is quite surprising given the situation. I'm really disappointed because I could have played with this great device today, but unfortunately I can't.

Watched a video and mentioned that 4 pin isn't necessary (thank god), but I'm still unsure why I'm not getting any signal. Could it be related to the screws I used to install? If you didn't install the motherboard standoffs, make sure to do it as soon as possible. Anything that might short the motherboard to the case could affect the boot-up process.

If you didn't install the motherboard standoffs, definitely do it as soon as possible. Anything that can short the motherboard to the case might cause boot issues. I installed 4 MMO stands and everything works... but no video.
