This setup is working fine with Patch 1.05. I don’t think there’s a major performance problem. My system has a 2-way SLI GTX-980, an i7-4790k, and 16GB of RAM. The HDD seems healthy—no bad sectors, defragmented. Loading issues appear only when Geralt is close (about 2 feet away) and take around 5 seconds. Game runs at 1920x1200 with medium settings, similar to Ultra at 4K. It looks like the game itself might be struggling, not my PC. Would switching to an SSD help?

Could you clarify if you're asking about a specific scenario or setting? I need more details to provide an accurate response.

I've observed this lately. It looks like a driver issue, especially with the GPU usage dropping in TW3. I'm struggling a lot with the 353.06 drivers. I plan to switch back to the 352.86 ones and will update you if it resolves the problem. EDIT: Changing drivers definitely improved my SLI performance and seems to have addressed the LOD issue too. What I hope is YMMV

The 353.06 drivers affect my SLI performance negatively, so I switched to 352.86. Still issues persist. Are you running an SSD for the game?

I just moved in and had it on an HDD before. I only noticed strange LODs occasionally. The key is the game needs enough VRAM. Make sure your textures are set to ultra and walk around town for about 30 seconds. I also enabled high-performance texture filtering, which might help. If your memory is overclocked, you could try going back to the default setting, though it probably won’t fix it.

I might go get a SSD and see if it does work. So its confirmed that 353.06 messes with Maxwell SLI Setups?

It definitely affects Witcher 3, but I didn't experiment with anything else on it. It also disrupted GSYNC.
