I've noticed this problem where my PC refuses to display images when connecting a cable to my GPU. It began a few days ago. Initially, I assumed the GPU was faulty, so I swapped it out with another one. Still no improvement. I've also used different cables, but the issue persists. The system runs Windows 11, which isn't compatible, though everything seemed fine before. I haven't changed the cables that connect the GPU to my PSU—those come straight from the power supply and aren't a Molex extension.

Have you explored simple fixes like verifying all connections, testing the display, resetting the CMOS, and confirming whether RAM might be the issue? Also, did you make any recent changes or upgrades that could have triggered this problem?

It doesn't matter which port you use. Share a bit more details, do fans begin spinning when the PC powers up? When you enable RGB lighting on the GPU, does it illuminate? Also, test another monitor if available, or use a different TV and phone to verify everything is functioning correctly.

Everything functioned correctly until recently. I changed to an older GPU, but it stopped working, so I replaced it with a newer one expecting the problem to resolve, yet the issue persists.

Need the exact make and model for the PSU. Also, the unit’s current color is something I’m worried about.

I've checked every solution I could find, but nothing worked.

Mobo is a Gigabyte model with a 78GB SSD, 8GB HyperX Fury DDR3 RAM, an SSD of 120GB and an HDD of 500GB. The GPU is the GTX 560, which I upgraded to a lower version because the previous one failed. I’m just looking for something reliable. The PSU is an FSP unit, which they say are good quality.

How did the old one die? This is like waaay too sus here. the psu was at best ok when it came out 9 years ago. I'd not be surprised if it's gone defective.

the fan speed increases across the whole system, both the CPU and GPU spinning up. My GPU shows two green lights that stay lit continuously, which seems positive. When I connect a cable from the GPU to the monitor, turning on the PC causes the monitor to receive a signal—specifically, it displays the message: "No video input monitor going to sleep." Activating the PC triggers this alert.

It stopped working after connecting to the PC and began displaying errors and messages on the screen. You suspect the power supply unit might be the issue. I have a backup PSU that’s easy to test—hopefully the GPU wasn’t affected.
