I watched this Benchmark
Link: https://youtu.be/fVEssWXH3Ak
In the video the person tested the 3080 Ti and it performed quite well, but when I tried it myself I noticed significantly fewer frames—around -70fps compared to his 150-175fps. I adjusted my settings to match his and tested the same areas he used at 1440p, which gave me 85-100fps instead of his 150-175fps. Although he has a more powerful CPU (5900x vs my 3900x), the difference between them is minimal.

No, the difference in those two resolutions can be 20% or more during gaming. Zen 3 showed a significant improvement in IPC and clock speeds, making it much better than 3900x.

Same components on the same motherboard, RAM, SSD, and PSU? And don't take everything at face value when you watch YouTube.

No, the difference in those two resolutions is 20% more noticeable during gaming. Zen 3 offers a significant improvement in IPC and clock speeds compared to 3900x. What power plan are you using? It should be set to Ryzen balanced. Make sure you have the newest chipset drivers installed, as this will provide the most current power plan.

Start by uninstalling the GPU using DDU, then install fresh drivers. Check your performance afterward. You might also consider adjusting RAM timings directly in BIOS instead of relying on XMP/DOCP. It could help if you do that.

It worked! I haven’t updated my CPU drivers since 2020, and the GPU drivers are current too. I attempted to manually adjust the RAM timings to 3600mhz, but that didn’t help either. Perhaps updating the CPU drivers now could make a difference. I’ll give it another try. Thanks a lot for your assistance.

Great news!
Ensuring your system drivers are current, along with Ryzen and the BIOS, will help everything function smoothly. You still have a powerful CPU and a solid gaming setup.
If you're satisfied, you can end the thread by selecting an answer as the solution.
Enjoy your game!
