The motherboard is functioning properly with your 3400G for the last year without any problems. The issue seems to be related to the older CPU not starting up, even though you installed the 5600 and checked.
You weren't required to update the 5600. Have you attempted to reinsert the RAM? It's simple to shift components just a bit and lose their place.
I didn't order it, I saw it listed as shipped with the update only after November 21st. I purchased it a while back... When I inserted the 5600, the LEDs and fans activated but there was no USB power or monitor image, and now it's happening again with my 3400 after adding the 5600...
Now I can't utilize either CPU on this motherboard, and the memory indicator remains red even though my RAM functioned perfectly yesterday.
