4.1GHZ is rarely reached below 1.40 volts. I boosted Ryzen CPU by adjusting Vcore to 1.45, then ramped frequency until crashes appeared in Cinebench R15 after ten runs or Aida64 stress test. At around 100mhz the CPU slowed to about 100kHz, and lowering Vcore caused another crash. So I set Vcore back to 1.45 and found a stable max around 4.05GHZ. If it didn’t crash at that point, I reduced frequency to 4.0GHZ. That’s likely the upper safe limit. Now I lower Vcore again until it fails, then try 4.0GHZ. After two Cinebench runs at 1.38V, I raised voltage to 1.40 and ran a stress test for at least 15 minutes. If it held, I moved to 1.42V and stopped. You can push the limits as much as you want, but that’s my approach—no crashes so far, and it usually takes an hour or two to reach peak overclock. Using voltage offset is better than static voltage; it aids cooling during idle. Also, try to limit CPU overclock before memory overclocking, and I’d do memory first.

You're aiming for a high speed but might not need it. A 100Mhz boost could be unnecessary unless you can maintain 1.4v or lower.

At that setting it gets quite hot, which isn’t ideal for gaming. Personally, I’m running 4.125 GHz with 1.38V core and 1.1V voltage, and I don’t expect any problems. The memory specs are also safe—some users have kept 1.35V RAM at 1.5V without issues for years.

At that setting it gets quite hot, which isn’t ideal for gaming. Personally, I’m running 4.125 GHz with 1.38V core and 1.1V voltage, and I don’t expect any problems. The memory specs are also safe—some users have kept 1.35V RAM at 1.5V without issues for years.

Are you sure? Many of us have achieved 4.1Ghz over 1.4V, while mine operates around 1.32V. It seems we might be among the rare winners of silicon luck or simply better at overclocking than expected.
