HELP ME PLEASE!!
I am assembling a system with an amd7 3700x, asus tuf x570 plus wifi, nvidia 2070 super, h100 egg platinum corsair cooling, 16gb corsair pro ram, and 750 corsair psu. After finishing the setup and powering it on, nothing appears on my screen and the bios isn't displaying either. I verified all connections and confirmed they are secure.
Everything seems to be functioning smoothly, with no visible output. Consider using a different cable or switching to HDMI initially. Ensure your monitor isn't requiring an input type change in the settings. Verify that the auxiliary PCI power connections are properly linked to the graphics card via the power supply unit.
TRIPLE VERIFY ALL DETAILS, FROM THE FRONT PANEL TO THE MOOTHERBOARD. Confirm the presence of the 4+4 pin EPS connector on the top edge for auxiliary CPU power and ensure the video cable is linked to the graphics card outputs, not the motherboard itself. The 3700x lacks built-in graphics, so no signal should reach the motherboard. Review the checklist three times, double-checking that you used the right standoffs and other components.
Welcome to the forums!
As per Darkbreeze's suggestion (I was about to reply when their comment appeared), you can also find this complete guide that outlines everything needed from the beginning, including all the points mentioned earlier. This checklist includes troubleshooting steps for "No POST", "system won't boot", and "no video output".
It's crucial to follow each step carefully if you aim to solve your issue effectively. 1.Did you...
Now edited mine to a response more appropriate, didn't seem to load up properly on mine!
I also have an 8 pin and a 4 pin EPS CPU power connector for the motherboard, though the PSU I bought didn't include a 4 pin version.
The additional four-pin connector is intended for maximum overclocking and isn't essential. I might remove the CPU and inspect for damaged pins.
