I recently increased my GPU's overclocking with precision X, but now my computer freezes and crashes constantly when starting up. I also overclocked my memory by sheer luck—the only solution was to update the driver and reinstall it. However, the issue recurs the next day. Precision X only fails during startup. I have a GTX 1080 with a Gigabyte motherboard.

It seems to be a switch or something, and in certain instances it resembles a small watch battery.
