Hello, I've moved from 3770K to 13900K after ten generations. Here are the details of my new setup: CPU 13900K, motherboard MPG Z790, carbon wifi CPU cooler DeepCool GAMMAXX AG620, power cooler PowerGAMEMAX 1050 SILVER SSD, team group a440 pro aluminum 2TB RAM, and Cinebench R23 scores of 32339 for multi-core and 2082 for single-core. My results look good, but I noticed higher multi-core ratings elsewhere (around 38849). Since I upgraded from an old system, could you suggest any BIOS adjustments to help reach these numbers? Thanks in advance!

Are you experiencing extremely high temperatures since your coolers aren’t performing well? Let me know what kind of case you’re using. If you have a sufficiently large one, consider getting an Arctic Liquid freezer II 420.

Currently there is no case, it remains outside, I didn't modify anything in the bios and everything stays in the default mode, which means no overclocking has occurred yet. This might explain the results you're seeing.

Review hwinfo and cpuz to see temperatures, voltages, and clock speeds. I think the chip is throttling because it's running hot. Try running cinebench for 5-10 minutes to check its current clock speed and voltage after the heat soak. Make sure you're using quality thermal paste—high-end CPUs need good cooling too. Consider KPX or Kryon Extreme pastes. Use an airflow case, not a solid front design with no airflow. For overclocking, start by testing max Vcore before it throttles. You might reach around 1.25V at 100°C, but if cooling fails at that point, you have issues. Adjust throttle temp accordingly—like setting it to 115°C if voltage limits are hit, but beware of cooling problems.

If your temperature is already at 100°C, avoid overclocking. Focus on enhancing cooling first. Consider using a contact frame. https://www.thermal-grizzly.com/produkte...y-der8auer You may also think about adjusting the CPU voltage in the BIOS to lower heat output. Not very effective. Standard air coolers usually can't handle a 13900K during Cinebench or similar tests.

Are you sure you want to push the 13900k to its limits? It’s built for everyday use and will never stay below 100°C when running at full capacity. Apart from a better Cinebench rating, there’s little real advantage beyond serious professional tasks. It’s meant for heavy workloads only.

The goal is to reduce voltage to cut heat while improving performance. Use CPU Light Mode, switch to Mode 5, and rerun the test—expect temperatures to drop slightly or the CPU to speed up more.

Thank you for the input, I'll attempt to lower the CPU voltage.
