We're all in the same boat, as the title suggests. Let's dive into my setup for clarity. The main problem is stuttering and frame drops during games and streaming. My system includes an AMD Ryzen 7 1800X with a liquid cooler, dual fans, DDR4 3200MHz RAM, an RTX 2060 Supercharged, and a B450 Pro motherboard with a 650W PSU. I have two SSDs and an NVMe M.2 drive. My monitor is a 2560x1440p at 144Hz. Streaming often causes frame drops, which some friends say my GPU handles better than CPU, but I'm not sure. I use Streamlabs for streaming and play games like Black Ops 4 and other demanding titles. The stream is usually downgraded to 720p. I'm wondering if there are any tweaks I can make or settings I should try to improve performance. My internet speed is around 100Mbps, and I stream at 3000 bits per second. Any suggestions or adjustments would be really helpful. I'm tired of these small stutters and occasional frame drops, especially when playing at lower settings.

Reduce your bitrate to 2200-2700. This should improve the streaming performance, with no noticeable quality loss.

Thank you for your feedback, but it didn't address the issue I'm facing.

OBS does not explicitly notify you when frames are dropped. You only notice it if you observe the stream on another device and see interruptions or missing frames.

He’s confirming it. Streaming is smooth now, but the stutter affects both the stream and the game.

Typically, if OBS shows an issue, you can improve it by reducing the stream quality. If you're also struggling with games, the GPU might be the problem—possibly due to drivers, overheating, or other factors.

Use SLOBS with a base resolution of 1920x1080 and an output resolution of 1280x720. Apply a bilinear downscale filter. Set FPS to 30, lock the frame rate at 60, and adjust the game resolution to 1080p for improved performance or higher FPS if desired.

The bitrate is significantly higher than required for 720p30. Exceeding 2700kbps will merely serve as a placeholder.

I've attempted to use a bitrate below 3000, but the quality remains poor.

The issue seems to stem from hardware problems between OP and Twitch servers, not just bitrate adjustments.
