Using the Epic Games deal—Telltale Batman Shadows Edition at $4.99, Heavy Rain for $9.99, Beyond Two Souls for $9.99, Detroit: Become Human at $29.99—all available on Steam. I’m unsure how much lower regional prices might be or if there’s a launch discount.

Telltale Batman feels a bit dull, honestly. Detroit isn't really a game—it's more of a film. Heavy Rain has its moments, and Beyond Two Souls is solid.

I enjoyed Detroit during my initial run, though I've noticed some issues on PC. It's worth trying if you prefer a hassle-free experience without needing constant attention.

I really enjoyed all the unique titles. Walking Dead (except s3), wolf among us, stories from the borderlands, Game of Thrones... Thanks for the recommendation—I might check out more games now. I’m not a big FPS gamer but I liked Portal and didn’t mind Bioshock Infinite, so perhaps Control? It’s $19.99.

I fuckin loved some of the Telltale games though. Walking Dead 1&2, The Wolf Among Us, Tales from the Borderlands... Those were great.

These options aren’t great. If you’re interested in a story-driven game, consider simulator simulator for free, though I haven’t played it often. My current top recommendations are: Doom Eternal (challenging yet not frustrating. The narrative isn’t crucial but adds some humor). Dark Souls 3 (a compelling story despite high difficulty). You might also like Ghost of Tales if you haven’t tried it. Most of these games blend storytelling with engaging gameplay, though they’re less focused on plot than interactive films.
